ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK
While waiting in Arusha we decided to visit Arusha National Park. Most of the locals told us its waste of an effort, however, we had decided to experience everything for ourselves.
Arusha National Park is around 45 minutes drive from town. Its located towards Kilimanjaro and opens around six thirty in the morning. We took a local guide along from the gate.
The park is famous for fresh water as well as salt water lakes and was full of Lesser Flamingo also called Pink Flamingoes. We could sight Zebras, Giraffes and African Buffaloes within first 500 meters itself.
Amazing place if you like close encounters with Zebras/ Giraffes and you love birds. Its full of different types of birds. We loved the place.....
